As we approach the FIFA 2022 World Cup Qatar, The Vinyl Vandals aim to provide you with solutions for your entertainment needs throughout a historic event here in Qatar.

Below is a list of local DJs and artists available throughout the Vinyl Vandals network. Due to the nature of your proposal, we can provide an hourly rate for all DJs.

DJ / Artist - with no DJ equipment 

200 QAR-300 QAR (Per hour)

DJ / Artist - with DJ equipment (CDJ's or DJ Controller) 

350 QAR- 450QAR (Per hour)

We also have a network for international DJs and artists from the UK. A quotation can be provided on a case-by-case application. These quotations will include flights and accommodation, which could be difficult during the tournament.

CHINO VV (UK) 🇬🇧 AFRO | SOULFUL | VOCAL - HOUSE MUSIC

“ A purveyor of Vocal, Deep, Afro & Soulful  infectious grooves, a true vinyl DJ, from Belt Drive to Direct Drive”

Since 2002, Chino, the headline DJ for “The Vinyl Vandals”, has been a DJ across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. During this time, he has supported acts such as Osunlade, Ralf Gum, Karizma, Bucie, Deep City Soul, Sy Sez, Franky Rizardo, Heartless Crew, Mark Radford, Giom, Dj Spen, Amine Edge & Dance.  

Now based in the Middle East, Chino has held several residencies at W-Hotel - Wahm, Kempinski - Secret Garden & Z-Lounge, Antica Pesa, Jazz Club & Bohemia. He was playing the finest in soulful, deep, afro and vocal House Music, infusing the classics with the present-day production. Swinging drum rhythms, huge stabs and vocals have allowed Chino to make his mark in Qatar.

Suisse

SUISSE (UK) 🇬🇧 tech | electro | deep - House Music

Süisse is a DJ/producer hailing from London, England. He has been performing in Doha for 4 years in a range of venues for a range of different audiences. He mixes a unique style of tech, electro and deep house creating a distinctive atmosphere where ever he plays.

He has had the pleasure of supporting acts such as The Mambo Brothers, Ben Santiago and Lovely Laura in the past and now has a bright future ahead with a number of release planned!

Steve Paris

STEVE PARIS (FRANCE) 🇫🇷 AFRO | soulful | DEEP - HOUSE MUSIC

His passion for Afro house, Deep & Soulful House, gave him an exquisite music style, which provided him with the opportunity to grow up in his artistic musical career.

Steve Paris born in Paris started his DJ career in Portugal (Porto). His mixtures of deep afro funky disco house gives him a unique style that made him the face of several bars and clubs in Portugal and France putting him beside DJs like: Bob Sinclair, Jamie Lewis (Purple music), Claude Monnet, Boddhi satva, Dj Yass (defected), Nicholas Sechaud, Dj Ravin (buddha bar). .

In 2012, he moved to Doha, Qatar to embrace a huge soulful house project, in one of the most prestigious hotels of the city. During two years, he was the resident Dj at Wahm lounge, in W hotel.

DJ with his undeniable talent took him an inevitable growth in the Middle East.

Andrew Harris

ANDERW HARRIS (CANADA) 🇨🇦 DEEP | UPLIFTING - HOUSE MUSIC

Andrew Harris has a unique musical past; forming his foundations as a drummer for several years in his native province of Nova Scotia, he eventually decided to pack away his drumsticks and see the world

Along his travels he fell in love with many genres that would influence his taste in music, and was captivated by a variety of electronic performances that would forever change his musical direction. After trading in he decided to trade his drumsticks for turntables, relying heavily on his strong rhythmic sense, he set out to begin a new musical adventure. 

After learning the necessary skills for his new endeavor, he began playing smaller clubs slowly developing a sense of how to create the infamous “groove”. In the last year he has performed at events for the biggest brands in electronic music including: The Ministry of Sound, Mambo Cafe, and Hed Kandi.  He continues to make a name for himself in his new home of Doha having had very successful residencies at some of the Doha’s top lounges and clubs such as: Nozomi, Flip Flops and Pure.

GAMBIT DJ (UK) 🇬🇧 UK GARAGE | AFRO | SOULFUL - HOUSE MUSIC

A dj with a real passion for sharing his love of great music with people. Whether it be an intimate venue or a super club, the premise is always the same - providing the perfect soundtrack for the setting.

Hailing from London, his musical interest was initially fed by his parents’ love of African, Soul, Rare Groove and Reggae music, and then nurtured by a fascination with electronic music acts like Daft Punk, Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers. 

The explosion of House and Garage in his hometown coincided with his desire to learn how to mix & share music he loved. Playing productions from legends such as Todd Edwards, Kerri Chandler, Grant Nelson, Tuff Jam, MJ Cole and Dem 2, he quickly developed a style which allowed him to produce sets that were often noted for their technical ability, cutting and chopping his way through quality 4/4 and 2-step beats with infectious energy.

As time progressed and Garage got darker (Grime) and darker still (Dubstep), pirate radio beckoned, which saw him bring the same energy and passion for quality music to the airwaves a number of London’s underground stations.

A return to his House roots saw him move into clubs, providing him with a chance to spread his take on the genre up and down the UK. 

Now residing in Doha and specialising in quality House music of the Afro, Soulful, Deep and Tech variety, gambitdj continues on his mission – “I love the vibe and energy that good music creates and the chance to share this with people gives me a buzz not many other things can. Times, genres and even fashions may fade– but good quality music will always shine bright.”

Fink

FINK (UK) 🇬🇧 REGGAE | DANCEHALL | R&B | SOUL | HIPHOP | AFROBEATS

“Born to a mother of soul and a father of reggae, give me 5 minutes and I’ll get you dancing and if you’re not dancing you’ll be singing”

Fink’s early introduction to music was like most through the sound system culture of the Caribbean listening to the likes of Stonelove and Bodyguard whilst travelling the UK with his father.

He became interested in Djing on the recommendation of a friend and fellow Dj who suggested his knowledge, song choices and back catalogue of music whilst djing on an iPod at a private party was second to none.

“Surround yourself with great people and allow they're magic to mould and direct you”

To gain experience he borrowed a friends old controller and started to understand the process of digital Djing, approximately two months later he was thrown in at the deep end and Dj’d his first gig in Doha. This success has lead him to perform at numerous events local and abroad in under two years.

Although a very proud Dancehall DJ, fink seamlessly mixes other genres of music in his sets to capture the attention of everyone in attendance.

Known for his thoughtfully curated playlist and high energy sets, he's an entertainer by nature. Always out to please his audience and a serious trusted tastemaker who brings the freshest Dancehall to an ever-increasing middle eastern fan base.

Fink is in high demand. Mixing Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeat, he is the vibe supplier for any music addict.

Adam Rickwood

ADAM RICKWOOD (UK) 🇬🇧 DEEP HOUSE

Currently based in Doha, Qatar, but born and raised in soggy Somerset, on the doorstep of arguably the most diverse music festival on the planet.

“I’ve had access to many goosebump-inducing live performances by artists from all walks of life; house, alternative, hip hop, jazz, rock, blues, punk, funk, electronic and reggae. To say that these have had an impact on me, and the music I enjoy playing, would be an understatement.”

My main influences include DJ’s and producers such as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Daddy G, Leftfield, Disclosure, MK, Redlight, Maribou State, Bondax, Dusky, Bodhi, Shadow Child, Route 94, George Fitzgerald, Maya Jane Coles, AlunaGeorge, James Blake and Kaytranada. There’s no doubt that artists such as these have inspired and motivated me to create my own unique sound.

I’ve always been hugely passionate and interested in music, trying my hand at many different instruments as a child before I began turning my focus to the bass guitar, lead guitar and drums. However, I find that my current creative output is in more of a digital capacity with the use of controllers and mixers.

Setting a mood for any occasion or event is something not only I feel is compulsory but also the backbone to a memorable experience.
