Lecta's appetite for music started in 1994, where an obsession for collecting vinyl began.

From 1997 that obsession became a passion and a moment, where he could connect the dots using the Kam made2fade mixer and Soundlab DLP300 belt drive turntables.

Originally from Working (UK) Lecta built up a passion for Djing having held a few residencies playing at bars and a late night bar/club playing house/garage. In 1999 a switch of genre to DnB, when he moved to Bournemouth defined his identity as a DJ until this current day.

His working career as a pastry chef has allowed him to travel the world and maintain a love for the culture. Moving back to Bournemouth in 2006 Lecta was able to earn a residency that lasted for 10yrs @ the now legendary night called Drumfunk. From here he was fortunate to play in Sardinia, Antigua and choice bookings in London and Brighton.

Today, he has recently started a new mix series called “The Sesh” featuring MC Visionobi, which is sure to showcase this style and represent the culture!
