“Dj Nappy” better known as Kareem George, is a very versatile Disc Jockey who has a passion for music from all different genres. His Caribbean background has raised him with the essence of cultural blends, beats and drums. His Grenadian origin has raised him through the rhythmic displays of Soca and Calypso music. Reggae and Dancehall has also played a big part in his upbringing as he was exposed to these sounds at an early age. Afro house, Deep House, Latin House and Soul have become part of his current playlist and mash up favourites. 

His love for music is rooted in the multicultural community of Toronto that he calls his home town. Toronto Dj’s such as Starting from Scratch, Specks and Jester have inspired him to take on the art of becoming a Disc Jockey. As he continues to express himself through music, he’s also taken keen liking to International DJ’s such as DJ Private Ryan, Jazzy Jeff and Black Coffee. These artist have broaden his horizon to experience and understand different techniques in this creative space.
