The Vinyl Vandals welcomes Bobby Davis, and collectively, we salute and tribute to Cipriani DJ.
Bobby Davis, a longstanding DJ within the London House music scene, brings us a little teaser mix as we await his debut guest mix for The Vinyl Vandals.
Bobby had a few words about his relationship with Cipriani & the Vinyl Vandals collective.
"It is such an honour to be finally working with this super-solid brand. The connection and bond with 'Vinyl Vandals' run deeper than just me making a guest appearance as the CEO & Director of the company 'Chino VV' is the son of the legendary 'Cipriani'. He was also one of my best friends in Music. Me and 'Cip' were very close, and it saddens us all when he passed away over six years ago.
On this occasion, I would like to take you all on an ancestral ride with me as we take it back to the motherland, how 'Cipriani' would have liked it. Even though we were both very deep into Tech-House & Techno Minimal sounds, we were both very in touch with our roots.
We love you, 'Cipriani', and I wanna dedicate this special warm-up show to you. The full show will be aired live on 'Vinyl Vandals' Radio at a later date TBA, but before I go, I would like to say a big thank you to 'Chino Vv' and the rest of the VV family for having me on board.

The Vinyl Vandals will relaunch the Ice Pink edition of our Vv Music ZipBack Cap this October with 50% of all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK in Memory of Cipriani Greaves.
Cipriani Greaves would have been 60 years old in September 2019, having lost his battle to Cancer in 2014. One of the founding members of the Earth Rocker Sound System (Huddersfield UK), he was influential in the UK Sound System Culture in late 1970’s and his memory still lives on.
The Nylon “Vv Music” ZipBack is comprised of a light pink medium-weight 100% nylon body, embroidered with white & grey tonal stitching, finished with an adjustable YKK Zip Back strap.

Chino Vv Entertains PSG in Qatar...
Chino Vv was invited to entertain the people of Doha for the Paris Saint Germain (PSG) 2019 winter training camp tour of Qatar.
The event was held at the Khalifa International Stadium and this will be one of the host stadiums used at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Playing in front of 6,000+ PSG fans the atmosphere was electric and Chino stayed true to his sound & identity playing the finest in Afro, Soulful and Deep House Music featuring tracks from Atjazz, D-Malice, Black Coffee, Dennis Ferrer, Dennis Cruz, and many more.
“Chino said “ It was the first time playing in a stadium environment, which was a good challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, working with a number of different production teams on the day to create the perfect atmosphere for the fan and PSG players. It was also great to see Neymar Jr & Mbappe up-close and hopefully, the Vinyl Vandals can represent once again when the World Cup kicks off in 4 years time!””
