A Friendship Rooted in Music
Chino and Dominique Danielle go back over nearly two decades, first crossing paths in the UK’s thriving London underground house scene. From warehouse sessions and residencies across London, the Midlands, and the North, their shared passion for deep, soulful music has kept their connection alive across borders and time zones.
There’s a mutual respect between the two selectors – not just for each other's ear and technical craft, but for the culture they continue to champion. This collaboration is more than just a mix – it’s a celebration of friendship, creative alignment, and the kind of timeless music that brought them together in the first place.
A Journey Through Sound
Chino’s guest mix is a journey through moods and grooves – from hypnotic deep house and tech grooves to soulful vocals layered over deeper basslines.
Chino said: I often listen to Dominique’s shows, and I love the energy each week on 'The Hadal Zone'. It was essential to embrace the energy that listeners hear each week, and most importantly, seamlessly integrate with my mix.
My UnderDeep podcast series is definitely more soulful, afro and deep, so it was nice to select some of my favourite deep groovers from 2012 to the present day to share with Dominique and the House FM community.
