This Sunday, the airwaves of Brighton’s iconic 1BTN radio will be pulsing with international rhythm and soulful depth as Lana G welcomes a very special guest to her show, The Soulful Side.

Joining her is none other than Chino VV, the genre-bending DJ, tastemaker and creative force behind the Vinyl Vandals collective.

Broadcasting from 16:00 to 18:00 GMT on Sunday 9 November, this episode promises an immersive musical journey that stretches far beyond borders. While 1BTN continues to lead the charge in soulful, underground radio across the UK, this mix is a true global affair—recorded live in Doha, Qatar by Chino VV, curated and hosted by Lana G from Croatia, and delivered straight to Brighton’s loyal listeners.

The Soulful Side airs monthly on Brighton’s leading station, 1BTN, every second Sunday.

Blending soulful selections with a deeper purpose, the show emerged from Lana’s earlier work promoting mental health through music. A passionate champion of Afro House and African rhythms, Lana’s journey began on the dancefloor and evolved into DJing and curating events through her collective, Soulectors.
